Nombreux parmi les enfants sourds congolais âgés de 6 et 7 ans n’iront pas à l’école en septembre
Le Ministère congolais de l’Enseignement Primaire, Secondaire et Initiation à la Nouvelle Citoyenneté, Maker Mwangu Famba a lancé le 11 août à Kinshasa, la campagne d’inscription des enfants de 6 et 7ans en première année pour l’année scolaire 2016-2017.
Cette campagne vise l’inscription de 2 millions d’enfants. L’enquête réalisée en 2012 sur les Enfants Adolescents en Dehors de l’Ecole (EADE a révélé que 7,3 millions d’enfants, sont âgés de 6 à 7 ans, et donc admissibles en première année primaire.
Il convient cependant de se poser la question de savoir quelle est la part des enfants en situation de handicap en général et des sourds en particulier ? Nombreux parmi ces enfants de la même tranche d’âge fixée par cette campagne n’iront pas à l’école au mois de septembre. Ceux qui auront la chance d’être inscrit ne finiront peut-être pas l’année scolaire. Il est temps de penser aussi à cette catégorie des enfants congolais.
